The above image is the Archive.org call number for this book. It was scanned into the library in 2013. From my PDF document, I can copy and paste this address into their search bar. Try it yourself: https://archive.org/details/workesofmosthighOOjame
You’ll see the volume has been removed from the collection. Why did the archive remove this book? Is it possible that a 400-year-old book published in 1616 is no longer in the public domain? That’s what I asked them in an email two years ago, to which no one ever responded.
What could possibly be the motivation for removing this book from the archive? A book that someone painstakingly scanned page by page?
Next, I tried searching for other more well-known works by King James, and I only found one in the archive. It’s a much later printing of Demonology that contains none of the extra-titular works that this copy has. This one.
The 1616 version is addressed to Prince Charles from His Majestie. The plate below denotes when the extra-titular works were written and where they are in this collection:
Not only has the Paraphrase of Revelation and other works been deleted from the archive, but there is no reference to these works on Wikipedia. Which begs the question: Why is this 400-year-old literary artifact being suppressed from the public? It seems as though someone doesn’t want us to read and understand this work. Someone is invested in preventing this work from coming to light. I look forward to your comments and questions. I will publish Ch. 7 from the paraphrase later this week.
More about the book
It looks your PDF reader is copy/pasting the link wrong. "00jame" in the URL became "OOjame". Those are zeroes! This link should work:

Thank you for telling me about your substack. I have to confess that I also have a hard time with old English and historical contexts that I have not studied in depth. I agree it would be helpful if you would explain the points you think are important and then it would be possible to comment. My particular concern is what we are facing now and what obedience to Christ requires. The Book of Revelation is important, as are all prophetic passages, but even more importantly , it is difficult to find Christians whose faith is not compromised.
